Our Mission
Hi there! We’re Outkittened – a small, foster-based rescue based in Centurion and working across the surrounding areas in Gauteng. Our focus is on rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving homes for kittens, usually up to about 12 weeks old. They’re tiny, they’re squishy, and they deserve the absolute best start to life.
We’re not a big fancy shelter – our kittens live in foster homes where they get lots of love, care, and attention. This helps them grow up healthy, socialised, and ready for their forever homes. Every adoption matters to us, and we work hard to make sure each kitten goes to the right home where they’ll be loved and looked after.
This isn’t just about rescue – it’s about people too. We’ve got an incredible little community of fosters, adopters, and supporters who make all of this possible. Whether you’re adopting, donating, fostering, or just cheering us on, we’re so grateful you’re here.

A Dream Realised
Meet Izanne Bieldt — Outkittened’s founder and lifelong animal lover whose rescue journey began when she unexpectedly took in four tiny orphaned kittens.
What started as a learning curve soon turned into a life-changing passion.
After difficult experiences with other rescue organizations, she realized she wanted to do better—for the animals and for the people caring for them. Her first official rescue, a Siamese kitten named Ally, inspired the name Outkittened and marked the beginning of something special.
Outkittened was founded by Izanne on the belief that every kitten deserves a shot at life and happiness.
Through fostering, adopting, and a lovely community, we’re turning that belief into reality.
Today, Outkittened is a small but mighty volunteer-run rescue dedicated to giving vulnerable kittens the second chance they deserve—with love, intention, and heart at the center of it all.
